My name is Rich Jaydee and I get business finance. I actually find it super easy (so much so that it helped me retire in my 40's). But it certainly didn't start that way. In fact, I used to find it super hard!

I started learning finance because I had no choice. As my management career progressed I found myself responsible for reporting on financial results. Without any formal training in finance, I was in trouble BIG TIME. I completed the formal training and long story short, I went from being an unskilled factory worker to the CEO of an 8 figure company.

In fact, I was able to grow that company from $9m to over $20m in turnover, in a little over 2 years. That wouldn't have been possible if I hadn't learnt and understood the key financial drivers in a business.

I've since transferred those skills into my own bricks and mortar business, in the retail sector. This business turns over 7 figures and not surprisingly, it's the exact same basic financial principles that drives my small business that I used to drive a $20m business.

Without an accurate cashflow model your business really is a ticking time bomb for failure. One major hit to your cashflow without sufficient time to see it coming and your business may never recover. It would be like the pilot of your next commercial flight, taking off without a weather forecast or a plan in the event of a storm. Most business owners are dealing with the financial "storms" as they fly into them.

Just like a commercial pilot, with a detailed plan, or in this case a cashflow forecast for your business, you can see those potential storms coming and adjust your flight path to mitigate or avoid the storm completely.
